"Votors" can't vote
I stumbled across this gem while surfing BlogMad last night (click the screenshot for a larger view):
My suggestion for stamping out voter fraud? Require potential voters to prove they can actually spell "voter" correctly.
For my money, nothing is a greater threat to democracy than illiterate votors.
I mean, voters.

Nah. This biggest threat to democracy is lack of options. When every side in the race is a bad choice there is no democracy, only hopelessness.
And that, it seems, is what we have both in the US and here in the UK.
Just wanted to give you a HIGH-FIVE for this entry!
Greywulf: Apart from the obvious joke I was making, I concur with you.
We -- at least we Americans; I can't speak for you Brits -- have fostered a system that discourages good people from seeking office, and encourages exactly the type of people no thinking person would want to have running anything.
Until we remedy that (and I don't hold out much hope that we will), our elections will continue to represent a choice between Scylla and Charybdis.
DamonO: Back at'cha, mi amigo.
That's hysterical. I love when I find stuff like that. In a way I'm glad stupid people exist. If not, who would the rest of us make fun of?:)
