Ah, but you see, the curse only works on actors whose surname contains the letters "Reeve." Messrs. Cain and Welling are therefore exempt.
On the other hand, anyone heard anything from John Haymes Newton or Gerard Christopher lately? (How quickly we forget. They were the two actors who played Clark Kent in the syndicated TV series Superboy in the late '80s and early '90s.)
